These terms apply to every quotation and order between Interscan Limited, trading as Interscan Surgical (“we”), and the business, hospital, clinic or practice placing the order (“you”). Our products are supplied for professional use only and we do not sell to consumers.
1. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT and delivery, which are shown separately. Catalogue codes, illustrations and descriptions are a guide; minor changes in pattern or finish may occur where they do not affect performance.
2. Orders
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing (including by email). Please quote your purchase order number and our quotation reference. Custom sets and special-order items are made up to your specification and cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
3. Payment
New customers pay before dispatch unless a credit account has been agreed. Account customers pay within 30 days of the invoice date. We may suspend deliveries on overdue accounts and charge statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we have received payment in full. Please check deliveries on arrival and tell us about any damage, shortage or wrong item within 5 working days.

6. Use, cleaning and reprocessing
Reusable instruments are supplied non-sterile and must be cleaned, inspected and sterilised before first use and between uses, following the manufacturer’s instructions and current guidance such as HTM 01-01 (or HTM 01-05 for dental practices). You are responsible for using instruments only for their intended purpose and by suitably trained staff.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or business, or for indirect or consequential loss.
8. General
These terms, together with our order confirmation, are the whole agreement between us and override any terms on your purchase order. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
