This policy explains how Interscan Limited, trading as Interscan Surgical (“we”, “us”), uses personal information when you visit this website, request a quote or buy from us. We are the controller of that information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Information we collect
- Quote and contact requests: your name, organisation, email address, phone number, the products you ask about and anything you write in your message.
- Orders and accounts: billing and delivery details, purchase order numbers and the contact details of the people we deal with at your organisation.
- Website use: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and the time of the request), kept for security and troubleshooting.
Your quote list is stored only in your own browser (local storage). It is not sent to us until you submit the quote form.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Only with organisations that help us run the business, under contracts that protect your data: our website host, email provider, accounting software, couriers and payment providers, and our professional advisers. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Order and account records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it to be transferred. Email contact@interscansurgical.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
